§ 163. Mr. Keelingasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies for what reason the disarming of the illegal military organisations in Palestine, condemned by the Anglo-American Committee, has been discontinued.
Mr. Creech JonesThe plans for the search of settlements put into effect on 29th June have been completed and the High Commissioner has expressed the hope that there will be no further need for widespread military action. There is no question of discontinuing action against the illegal organisations and any further outbreaks of violence will be dealt with with the utmost vigour.
