§ 130. Mr. W. Shepherdasked the President of the Board of Trade what percentage of our exports, since the end of the war, is represented by shipments to British and other forces overseas and on behalf of U.N.R.R.A.
§ Mr. MarquandExports by U.N.R.R.A. have not been separately recorded. A precise figure cannot therefore be given, but such exports have represented about 3 per cent. of the total exports in the year ended May, 1946. No reliable estimate can be made of the percentage of total exports represented—by N.A.A.F.I. supplies but it is known to be considerable—probably larger than that for U.N.R.R.A. British Government-owned stores shipped to British and other forces overseas are not included in the export statistics.
