§ Mr. Deerasked the Minister of Health if he will hasten the setting up of the tribunals under the Furnished Houses (Rent Control) Act; and whether he will reconsider the figure of 250,000 for tribunals in sparsely populated areas.
§ Mr. Bevan:I shall establish these tribunals as quickly as I can, and the process will be helped if local authorities will do more than has yet been done in forwarding names of suitable members. The figure mentioned in my hon. Friend's Question was taken as a working guide, but I have not treated it as binding.
