§ 60. Mr. Hicksasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will state the arrangements for the rate of exchange when the U.S. loan to Great Britain is agreed and, in particular, if it will be at the rate equivalent in June, 1946, or at a parity when the negotiations were completed and the Houses of Parliament endorsed the application.
