§ 88. Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Food whether, in view of the serious food situation and of the large exports of both human and animal foodstuffs revealed in the Trade and Navigation Accounts for the United Kingdom for the five months ended on 31st May, he will prohibit the export of all foodstuffs pending an amelioration of the food situation in Great Britain.
