§ Mr. BarnesAs the city corporation and county council of Durham were unable to agree on the details of a through road scheme to alleviate the traffic conditions in the city, I recently, in conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Town and Country Planning, caused a local inquiry to be held into the alternative schemes proposed; the report has lately been received and is being considered.
