§ Mr. IsaacsAt the end of May, 1945, approximately 12,300 male and 50,300 female workers, including insured persons and half the number of part-time female workers, were employed in the hosiery industry in Great Britain. The corresponding figures for the end of May, 1946, were 18,100 males and 57,100 females.
