§ Mr. O. Pooleasked the Minister of Agriculture when wire netting will be available to farmers without a permit.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsSupplies of wire netting remain insufficient to meet all potential demands. A system of permits is therefore necessary to ensure that the available supplies are directed where the need is greatest, and to farmers in particular. This will be relaxed as soon as supplies allow, but I cannot at the moment say when that is likely to be.
