asked the Assistant Postmaster-General if he is aware that local authorities in rural districts in Wales have made, repeated representations for the installation of telephone kiosks in their areas; and what steps are being taken to provide these essential amenities.

Mr. Burke:

Yes, Sir. I am looking into the matter and will see that the installation of kiosks in these districts proceeds as rapidly as the heavy pressure of priority commitments permits.
