Captain Bullock

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when arrangements are to be made to supply the new supplementary register to agents and registration officers so that the necessary arrangements may be made in time for forthcoming county council elections.

Mr. Ede:

In accordance with the provisions of the Elections and Jurors Act, 1945, the Supplementary Register will be published on 28th February and will be effective for the forthcoming County Council elections. The same arrangements as were operative in respect of the October Register will apply to the sale of this Register, and to the supply of copies to Parliamentary party agents.
