§ Mr. F. Leeasked the Minister of Health, in view of the recent recurrence of incidents in which children living near bombed buildings have been attacked by rats, he will now instruct local authorities to clear such buildings which are in the vicinity of occupied houses, as suggested in the letter sent him by the hon. Member for the Hulme division of Manchester.
§ Mr. Bevan:I am in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary in this matter and action has already been taken regionally with a view to curing the particular trouble referred to.
