§ Captain G. Jegerasked the Minister of Food why quantities of Christmas puddings and cakes from South Africa have been lying in 0 warehouse, Southampton Docks since mid-December; and what does he intend to do with them.
§ Sir B. Smith1,097 cases of puddings have been distributed. A further 49 cases, of which the arrival was not notified to my Department until this week, await distribution. The remaining foodstuffs are part of a large gift from South Africa, the bulk of which arrived at other ports and is now in process of distribution.
