Mr. Gilzcanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what prospects there are of the College of Art, Edinburgh, being soon released for its legitimate purposes.
§ Mr. WestwoodPart of the Edinburgh College of Art is occupied by the Ministry of Food, and the provision of alternative accommodation for that Department is a matter for the Minister of Works. The question of the release of the premises has been under the active consideration of the Ministry of Works and the Scottish Education Department, but I am not yet in a position to indicate when the occupied part of the premises may be restored to the College authorities.
