§ Mr. R. A. Butlerasked the Minister of Labour how many men and women are now employed in making munitions and equipment for the Services.
§ Mr. IsaacsThe returns rendered by employers show that the number engaged in the manufacture of equipment and supplies for the Forces at 31st December, 1945, was approximately 1,790,000. Investigation of a proportion of the returns, however, shows that this figure is probably an over-estimate.
