§ Mr. Haydn Daviesasked the Minister of Education whether it is now possible to extend existing arrangements for release from the Services of party-trained schoolmasters, by applying the scheme to registered students at training colleges and university training departments who are in release Groups I to 49 and can complete their training in two years after release, thereby speeding the entry of additional trained schoolmasters into the schools.
§ Miss Wilkinsons have consulted my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour and I find that the present position is the same as on 20th December, 1945, when he informed the hon. Member for London University (Sir E. Graham-Little) that it was not possible to extend the existing arrangements.
