HC Deb 14 February 1946 vol 419 c161W
Air-Commodore Harvey

asked the Minister of Works what kind of difficulties have been met with in the production of the Tarran type of temporary house.

Mr. Wilson

One of the two firms manufacturing Tarran houses experienced difficulty in designing satisfactory steel moulds for casting the concrete wall units. This difficulty has been overcome and it should now be possible to build up a satisfactory rate of production. The production by the other firm is practically up to programme.
