§ Major C. Pooleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that the N.F.S., Region 9, have a number of motor vehicles surplus to their requirements for which disposal instructions are awaited; that these vehicles are stored in the open and are thereby deteriorating; and if he will give disposal instructions for these vehicles.
§ Mr. EdeOwing to the shortage of covered storage space, it is unavoidable that large numbers of these vehicles should be stored in the open, but, so far as practicable, perishable parts are removed beforehand. My Department notifies all surplus vehicles to the department responsible for the arrangements for their disposal.
