Mr. Hobsonasked the Minister of Health if he has considered the report of the inquiry held on 7th September, at Wembley, into the application of Wembley Borough Council for the purchase by compulsory powers of a plot of land adjoining Mardale Drive, Kingsbury, for building purposes, the land being the property of All Souls College, Oxford; and if he will state the area, the purchase price and the previous rateable value of the land.
§ Mr. BevanYes, Sir. The compulsory purchase order was confirmed by me on 5th November, 1945. The area of land 135W is 19 acres, and the previous rateable value was nil. The purchase price has not yet been settled.
