H., 1113217, R.A.F. station Catonia, C.M.F., which was taken from him and lodged at the R.A.F. station Catonia in August, 1945 and of which particulars have been forwarded to the Minister, has not been restored to him; and in default of return of these articles whether compensation will be paid.
§ Mr. StracheyCorporal Stones' personal be ongings were sent to the hospital where he was a patient. I will inform my hon. Friend of the result of further inquiries which we are making with a view to returning these articles to Corporal Stones. Non-commissioned officers and airmen receive all their Service requirements from Royal Air Force stores, and we cannot normally pay compensation for the loss of anything additional which they may have taken with them.
