§ Sir B. SmithThere is no direct relationship between the amount of coal exported by the United Kingdom to Denmark and the amount of food imported from Denmark. It would be reasonable to expect, however, that an increase in Danish imports of coal would eventually lead to an increase in the total amount of food available for export from Denmark, and of this the United Kingdom would get its share.
