§ Mr. DaltonNo, Sir. Redundant staff are being released under arrangements 57W already agreed with the responsible Whitley Councils. A large number of temporary civil servants will continue to be indispensable to the Public Service for some time to come, but sympathetic consideration is given to individual applications for release.
