§ Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of War Transport whether he will make arrangements to ensure that throughout the 2W country one-way streets are so marked that motorists can see at night whether they are one-way streets or not; and if he will take steps in this connection either to provide lights for this purpose or to lower the height of the signs which are too high and obscure to be seen at night.
§ Mr. BarnesRecommendations on this subject are made in a report by a Departmental Committee on Traffic Signs, which will be published early in March, and it is my intention to make regulations which will cover the points to which my hon. Friend has drawn attention.
