§ 96. Mr. Cooperasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation what is. now the stage of progress 391W with regard to consideration of the recommendations of the Pakenham Committee to develop Langstone Harbour as a flying-boat base; and when he expects to make an announcement on the final decision, to enable the preliminary work of development to commence.
§ Mr. LindgrenThe report of the Pakenham Committee is still under examination in consultation with the Government Departments concerned and until that examination is completed, I regret that I cannot add to the reply I gave to the hon. Member for Hornsey (Mr. Gammans) on 27th November last.
