§ Mr. Sharpasked the Minister of Health why the Batley Corporation has still not received permission to develop land at Fieldhouse Lane, Birstall, for housing, for which purpose it was purchased some years ago; and whether, in view of the absence of other suitable sites and the need of Birstall people for more houses, he will ensure that the required authority is now given.
§ Mr. BevanObjections have been raised on agricultural and planning grounds. Further discussions are now proceeding with a view to an early settlement.
