§ Mr. TomlinsonSpedan Towers, Hampstead, was requisitioned by the War Department in 1940 when it was vacant. Recently it became surplus to the War Department's requirements. The Ministry of Health did not require the property for housing as it could not be readily converted into flats, and it has been taken over by my Department to house German scientists now occupying the Beltane School, Wimbledon, which is urgently required for a Teachers' Training College.
