§ 110. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action is being taken to publicise the need for, and encourage the training of geologists for, work throughout the Commonwealth and Empire.

As regards these territories all university appointments boards and committees in this country, as well as other recognised bodies, have been informed of the present and probable future vacancies in the Colonial Geological Survey Services, and they have been asked to give all possible assistance. I myself have also referred to our need in reply to Parliamentary Questions.
