§ Mr. Asshetonasked the Minister of Food if he will reconsider his decision to withhold a wholesale allocation of bananas from Mr. Mark Barnett, 35, Queen's Block, Stoney Lane, E.I, in view of the 220W fact that before the war Mr. Barnett was a regular wholesale dealer in bananas.
§ Mr. StracheyI have reconsidered this case, but for reasons which were fully explained to the hon. Member by letter on the 21st November, I cannot see my way to make this allocation at present.
