§ 140. Brigadier Headasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that the Government tuberculosis allowance of £2 5s. 2d. a week and 10s. 6d. disablement panel benefit is inadequate to keep Mrs. E. Johnson and her four children, 45, Thornton Road, Wrythe Lane, Carshalton, in bare necessities, while her husband is in Bournemouth Sanatorium; and if he will review this allowance in accordance with the higher cost of living.
