Mr. Randallasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that, following a demonstration by Servicemen at a large ordnance depot in Egypt, the commanding officer, in addressing the men on the following morning, stated that it was a military offence to write to a Member of Parliament; and if he will inquire into the matter and acquaint the commanding officer with the statements made by His Majesty's Ministers on this subject and see that the men are informed accordingly.
