asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware of the unsatisfactory train services to Bridport; and when it is intended to restore services which compare more favourably with those existing before the war.

Yes, Sir, but augmentation of the present service is not possible in view of the general shortage of engines and coaches, and of the number of passengers to be carried.
