asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation which of the four landing grounds on the mainland of Orkney is to be used as the terminal airport for the county.

Of these four landing grounds the aerodrome at Hatston is the most suitable, both operationally and from the point of accessibility, as the main terminal airport on the mainland of Orkney and will continue to be used as such.
