HendersonI am satisfied that there is no other authority in Burma to whom the functions in question could appropriately be entrusted: those of the representative of the British Council are restricted to the exposition of Britain in terms of culture and education. The United Kingdom Information Officer, who only recently left for Burma, will submit detailed estimates of expenditure for approval as soon as possible.
