Mr. Marplesasked the Minister of Works what action he has taken to see that other Departments, who may possess building materials in stores throughout the country, have examined their stock position in order to release for disposal any materials which might usefully be incorporated in temporary or permanent houses.
§ Mr. TomlinsonAll Departments concerned are fully aware of the need to re lease surplus stocks of building materials, and the urgency of this matter has been constantly impressed opon them.
