§ Mr. WilsonI am not aware of the number of fatal accidents resulting from inefficient electrical wiring, but I believe these accidents are generally due to the use of portable instruments or interference with an installation rather than to the installation itself. It is the general practice for electricity undertakings to supply current only when installations comply with the rules of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. It would not be practicable to enforce regulations prohibiting the improper use of installations.
