§ 30. Brigadier Lowasked the Secretary of State for War what arrangements there are to assist foreign born wives of British soldiers to bring with them their luggage and property when they travel from their country of origin to England to join their husbands.
§ Mr. Bellenger:Foreign born wives of British soldiers are entitled to the same allowance of baggage which may be conveyed at public expense as British born wives. My right hon. Friend the Member for Newport (Mr. Peter Freeman) on 19th February, but the whole question of baggage entitlements is under review in the light of postwar requirements.
