§ Sir P. Macdonaldasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in view of the fact that under the Cairo Declaration of 1943 it was agreed that all territories stolen by Japan from the Chinese, such as Manchuria, Formosa and the Pescadores, shall be restored to China, what steps will be taken by the British Government to support the Chinese claim to the Loodioo Islands, in view of the fact that 368W these islands were yielded to Japan as a result of pressure in the same year as Formosa.
Mr. McNeil:The status of the Loo-choo Islands, like that of other Japanese territories, is a matter for decision at the eventual Peace Conference with Japan.
