§ 13. Mr. M. Lindsayasked the Minister of Supply how many accumulators or motorcar batteries at Brize Norton aerodrome are being, or have been, destroyed as not wanted by the authorities; and whether he will allow them to be sold to private persons in view of the difficulty in obtaining them.
§ Mr. Wilmot:I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for Air to the hon. Member for Banbury (Mr. Dodds-Parker) on 27th March last. Surplus batteries for which there is a commercial demand and which are fully fit for use are disposed of through normal trade channels.
