HC Deb 02 April 1946 vol 421 cc159-60W
Mr. Linstead

asked the Minister of Works, whether any progress has been made towards the vacation of Ibstock Place, Roehampton, by a branch of the Ministry of Supply, in order to enable the house to be occupied by a school.

Mr. Tomlinson:

Owing to the special requirements of the branch of the Ministry of Supply at Ibstock Place, a suitable alternative building has not yet been found. Search is being made urgently. I am fully alive to the need for restoring Ibstock Place to its former use as soon as possible and every effort is being made to that end.
