Mr. Garry Alliģhanasked the Minister of Labour the total number of Servicemen who have been released under Class B and the numbers of such men allocated to building work and to civil engineering, respectively, at the latest available date.
§ Mr. Isaacs:The total number of Servicemen reported as released in Class B up to 15th March, the latest date for which information is available, was 161,361. This total included approximately 86,500 building operatives and 2,300 civil engineering workers.
