§ Sir J. Lucasasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what grants are available to enable civilian internees, repatriated from the Far East and devoid of funds, to enable them to set up homes in this country.
§ Mr. George HallBritish subjects who have been repatriated to this country after release from captivity in Far Eastern territories which were occupied by the enemy, and who intend to remain permanently in the United Kingdom, will be eligible for consideration for grants for the purchase of furniture and household goods on the lines of, and within the limits of, the free cover provided in the Private Chattels Scheme of the United Kingdom.
