§ Captain G. Jegerasked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that a number of officers in B Section, Wireless Experimental Centre, India Command, have been receiving Indian Army allowances for some years; that they have now been informed that they were never entitled to it; that large sums are now being claimed from them which will cause hardship to their families; and whether he is prepared to consider writing off these amounts, in view of the fact that the mistake was made by the Army administrative staff.
