§ Mr. Garry Allighanasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether, since the rate of demobilisation in the R.A.F. is slower than in the other two Services, he will take all possible steps to ensure 1813W that at least 80 per cent. of the new intakes are drafted into the R.A.F. in order that releases for that Service can be increased.
§ Mr. IsaacsI have been asked to reply. I would assure my hon. Friend that, subject to the satisfaction of equally urgent requirements of the Navy and Army, the proportion of the new intakes to be allocated to the R.A.F. will be at the maximum.
