§ Mr. Stokesasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware that two new large hangars are being erected at St. Mawgan aerodrome in Cornwall; and whether, in view of the urgent demand for the labour involved for housing in the county, their erection will be suspended until houses have been built.
§ Mr. StracheyThese two extra hangars are being erected at St. Mawgan so that we can concentrate an extra transport unit there which would otherwise be occupying a separate airfield and requiring the services of a separate station staff. Not more than sixty men of building trades will be needed at one time and their work will be finished by the end of the year.
