§ Mr. J. Williamsasked the Minister of Labour whether he can give the number of unemployed on the registers of Ministry of Labour exchanges in Glasgow; and how many of them belong to the shipbuilding and engineering industries.
§ Mr. IsaacsThe last figures to be published relate to 16th July when the number of insured persons registered as unemployed at Employment Exchanges in Glasgow was 5,363, including 1,575 in the shipbuilding and engineering industries. The next count is being taken today, and as soon as the figures are available I will send them to my hon. Friend.
