§ Mr. W. J. Brownasked the Minister of Agriculture when he anticipates that he will be able to announce the Government's long-term policy on agriculture.
Mr. WilliamsThe Government's general intentions with regard to home food production were clearly stated in the Gracious Speech. The specific measures necessary to give effect to those intentions will be introduced as and when required, and I hope it will not be long before I am able to give the House a forecast of some, at least, of those measures.
