§ Mr. IsaacsThe position of men who were released from the Armed Forces to industry during the war and are still on release is under active consideration and I will make an announcement as soon as possible.
§ Sir J. Lucasasked the Minister of Labour if he will reconsider the case of Marine Boxall, who has served 21 years with the colours and who volunteered for heavy labour in gas works, consequently losing his right to 56 days' leave, and is unable to leave his present employment in view of the fact that no Re-allocation of Labour Scheme was in force at the time and no warning was given that he would lose all right of leave, etc., by volunteering.
§ Mr. IsaacsI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to my reply to-day to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Balham and Tooting (Captain R. Adams).
