HC Deb 09 October 1945 vol 414 c82W
Colonel Clarke

asked the Minister of National Insurance whether members of the W.L.A., who after demobilisation return to their homes in towns and are unable to find employment, will draw benefit at the agricultural or industrial rate.

Mr. J. Griffiths

The benefit to which they will be entitled will be that payable under the scheme to which they have contributed. In most cases, this is the agricultural scheme, but there may be a small number of workers who have been employed on work insurable under the general scheme, e.g. on milk rounds.
