The Attorney-GeneralBy Article 17 (a) of the Charter annexed to the Agreement date 8th August, 1945, the international Military Tribunal shall have the power to summon witnesses to the trial and to require their attendance and testimony and 1765W to put questions to them, Although there is this power to summon witnesses there is no legal means of compelling their attendance, if any British nationals are summoned by the Tribunal to attend as witnesses, and circumstances permit of their attendance, transport facilities will be made available.
