§ Captain C. Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies to what extent the 1943 revision of wage scales for certain classes of public employees in Trinidad, principally carpenters and plumbers, has made their position worse than before; and whether the Government of Trinidad intends to maintain the wages of public employees at the level of 1935, with due allowance for increased cost of living.
