HC Deb 26 November 1945 vol 416 cc1023-4W
:Sir W. Smithers

asked the Minister of Agriculture if he will issue instructions to W.A.E.C.s to ensure that farmers, when threshing, make tailings and husks available to poultry keepers, and especially to poultry keepers' clubs.

Mr. T. Williams

No, Sir. While feeding stuffs remain in short supply, farmers would normally need their tailings for their own stock. Any tailings or screenings which the grower does not need himself may only be sold to an approved buyer.
